One man's attempt to end Lenny Clarke's reign of terror

I have a suggested item for you to add to your list of Frequently Asked Questions:

Why do we continue to invite Lenny Clarke into the broadcast booth to embarrass both himself and our network?

Unfortunately I can't imagine a reasonable response to this question. Prior to tonight's game, I knew Lenny as the least funny comedian on the planet. He sunk to an even lower level after tonight's failed attempt at little people humor. My 5 year-old daughter was in the room when Lenny broke out his incredibly classy "I once had sex with a midget..." line. Fortunately it didn't draw a reaction from her, but I was mortified that she was subjected to such a crude reference.

If you insist on having this fool participate in your broadcasts going forward, could you at least move his appearance to the late innings? It's summer now and there are lots of young kids who get to stay up for at least the early innings.

There are so many things I enjoy about NESN and your Red Sox coverage, but watching class acts like Don Orsillo & Sean Casey be forced to fake laugh at Lenny Clarke is not one of them. Please consider going in a new direction and making a clean break from his tired act.
